| The reality of today's environment is that change is simply the way to do business. Change has often been defined as if it is something we do to organizations, to people, when in fact if real change is happening, it is the organic evolution of doing business while valuing innovation, passion, and excellence in the marketplace. Organizations continue to focus on "change" rather than simply integrating it as "what we do around here". No wonder employees see "change initiatives" as the flavor of the month. Over time, these initiatives and the way they sometimes get implemented have left people with a lack of belief that this will change anything for the better. Leaders, listen up. It is time to stop making "change" the focus. It is time to make your strategy of choice simply doing business while valuing innovation, passion, and excellence in the marketplace. Getting there will feel a lot like "change" for a while. Transitions are time for shifting thinking. Change your mind...change your life. Change the minds of your organization...change the life of your organization. This transition requires clarity of thought and action. Your leadership of yourself and others must be grounded in integrity and aligned in purpose. Help your organization to do their best by simplifying transition.
