Nikole Kadel brings years of teaching, organizing and cultivating the personal connection between nature and the self to her work with Alexsa Consulting. Her ability to synthesize the goals of an organization combine with outstanding creativity and attention to detail. As an event planner, curriculum designer, leader of nature programs, green program consultant and creative partner, Nikole is at her best listening for essence -- be it in a project or with a person’s deep longing for “more.”
Nikole’s clients come to her looking for someone who intrinsically understands their objectives and how to make them a reality in the world. Nikole‘s pragmatic understanding of resources and tools for outreach plus her ability to create end-to-end solutions makes her an invaluable partner.
In 2005, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Defenders of Wildlife, and White Oak Conservation Center/Howard Gilman Foundation named her as one of twenty Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders. In 2009, she was honored to be asked to serve as a mentor to the newest group of emerging leaders.
Nikole holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental policy and a Master of Science in interdisciplinary ecology (specializing in environmental education) from the University of Florida.
“The essence of a flower sings with great ease. The essence of a person is always present, but not always in sight. How can we support each other to sing as the flowers do?” -- Nikole
Nikole’s work at Alexsa Consulting connects her strong grounding in natural values with an understanding of the human spirit. She helps people go out in the world in order to go deep within themselves.
In addition to her academic and business background, Nikole spends many weeks alone in direct experience with nature. These experiences inform the creativity that bring Nikole her natural insights. “A pod of dolphins came to me as I was swimming in Hawaii. Instantly, I was immersed in liquid joy. Being with them I understood what it meant to embody joy, grace and freedom. Nature provides powerful teachers.” --Nikole |
